The TCCI has a dedicated Workplace Relations Helpline service for TCCI members. You will need to provide your membership number when calling the Helpline.

Two free Helpline calls are available for all Members with increasing free access to the Helpline dependant on your level of membership. Charges apply for those not entitled to access this service.

The Helpline provides access to qualified Workplace Relations Advisors that can provide your business with relevant, up-to-date, independent and accurate advice on a range of general (non-complex) workplace relations issues. 

The following are examples of services provided by the helpline (not a comprehensive or complete list):

  • Straightforward advice in regards to industrial instruments- Modern Award, Enterprise Agreements etc
  • Modern Award coverage, interpretation and transitional arrangements
  • Rates of pay, loadings, penalties and allowances
  • Leave entitlements/ accruals – annual, personal, parental and long service leave
  • Obligations under the Fair Work Act 2009
  • Record keeping requirements
  • Call of generally 10 - 15 minutes duration
