Richard Dowling is Senior Economist at the TCCI. He has responsibility for coordinating policy development and advocacy for the Chamber and providing a range of economic services to the business community.
Richard has tertiary qualifications in economics and political science and previously worked in a number of economic policy development and regulatory roles for the State Government. He has been with the Chamber since mid 2007.
Stephen Reid is part of the Economic team with Richard Dowling. Stephen has tertiary qualifications in economics and computing and worked in Financial Planning before joining the Chamber in July 2008.
Helen started working at the TCCI in 1994 and is one of the longest serving members of staff. Helen is part of the Business Support area of the TCCI with a focus on membership, finance, property and staff.
Jemma is part of the TCCI membership team. Jemma previously worked at the TCCI for four years before leaving for 9 months to explore Queensland. Jemma returned to the TCCI in March.
Sally Carr works at the TCCI as a Membership Liaison Officer. Sally returned 5 months ago on a part time basis after previously working at TCCI for many years before having a family.
Kon has been working at the TCCI in partnership with the Dept of Economic Development since April 2007, he helps people with the process of starting up new businesses and also helps established business owners maximise their businesses full potential.
David Dilger has returned to the TCCI as Chief Workplace Relations Officer after nearly 10 years in varying roles in the wider business sector including HR Manager Southern Cross Telco, Group HR Manager Impact Fertilisers, CEO of national bakery franchise Banjo’s and CEO of Pixie Childcare Centres. David, a qualified lawyer, has an MBA, a Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment, is an accredited Mediator and a long term sitting member of the statutory body for Traineeships the Tasmanian Training and Agreements Committee.
Angela graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business (Tourism), majoring in Human Resource Management. Prior to joining the Chamber Angela worked in a supervisory role in a well established hospitality venue focusing on customer service, training and the HR/OH&S procedures of the business.
Angela joined the Chamber at the end of 2006 and focuses on providing industrial services such as workplace agreements, general advice and award service. angela.marlor@tcci.com.au
Leon brings with him 20 years of people, business and project management experience, with an industry background encompassing retail/wholesale, labour hire, and training and development. Leon is an HR practitioner with process/systems management skills who focuses on industrial relations and people management, from recruitment through to termination.
Nick joined the TCCI in April 2007 in the position of Workplace Relations Adviser, following his graduation from the University of Tasmania in 2006. Nick achieved a Bachelor of Business with First Class Honours, majoring in Human Resource Management. With an interest in Workplace Relations, he completed his Honours research thesis on the deregulation of Australian workplace relations, specifically the Federal Government’s Workplace Relations Amendment (Work Choices) Act 2005. nick.adams@tcci.com.au

Co-ordination Manager – Skills and Events
Judy has been with the TCCI since September 2005. She started work in the Business Skills department as executive assistant of the college of management and now is Co-ordination Manager of Skills and Events.
Jacinta is part of the TCCI conferences and events team. Jacinta is new to the TCCI team and is looking forward to getting to know all the members and assisting them with functions and events they would like to attend.
Sally Chandler is the TCCI’s TradeStart Export Adviser based at the TCCI office in Hobart. Sally liaises very closely with Austrade’s network of offices within Australia and strategically located throughout the world.
Sally has qualifications in workplace training, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of International Business (MIB). She is a Member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIMM) and the Australian Institute of Export (MAIEx).
Having worked within export companies for many years, having previously worked with Austrade and having lived and worked in the UK, Italy and Sweden, Sally is very well qualified to assist new and existing exporters large and small with all their international trade needs - whether new to export, new to market or to locate new customers in existing markets.
The service provided by Sally is free of charge to qualifying clients courtesy of TCCI’s partnership with Austrade. Sally has been with the Chamber since May, 2004.
Lesley Richardson is the TCCI Employment, Education and Training Adviser. Lesley has had over 15 years experience working in a variety of industries after which she studied a Bachelor of Education at the University of Tasmania. She has worked in the Education and Training sectors for the past 15 years.
