one-min-vid competition



The TCCI one min vid one (one minute video) competition aims to communicate some or all of the following messages:

Message 1: The importance of work readiness

What does this work readiness?
Here are a few examples of what we mean when we say ‘work ready’. 
  • The Work Ready Tool (page 4) outlines what Tasmanian employers expect when they say they want ‘work ready’ employees
  • The set4work tool outlines work readiness
Who are we trying to communicate this message to?
Anyone looking for a job. Job seekers of any age, school students who will be looking for a job in the future.

Message 2: Encourage job seekers to take up vocational education and training

What is VET?
Who are we trying to communicate this message to?
Again, job seekers.  People looking for a career pathway.  People looking for education options.  High school or college students.

Message 3: Encourage people to take up apprenticeships and traineeships

What are apprenticeships and traineeships?

Who can enter?

Any Tasmanian resident can enter the competition to create a one minute video.
 
What are the Terms and Conditions?

To submit your entry, you must print and sign the Terms and Conditions and submit the signed copy with your entry.
A few key points to remember:
  • You must have the rights to use any music in your vid
  • You must have release forms signed by any actors or people that you’re filming
  • You must own or have the rights to use materials in the vid
  • You’ll be releasing the intellectual property rights to TCCI to use as we wish (yes, that means that we’ll be promoting and using your vid at every chance we get)!
