We would like to inform employers of a recent case in New South Wales of fraudulent activity where nine ex-employees of a registered training organisation (RTO) were supplying forged trade qualification documents at a fee to individuals without having to complete compulsory theory or practical assessments.

As of 20 December 2018, the individuals involved have been charged, three of which have been arrested. The registration of the RTO has been cancelled as of 25 June 2015 due to non-compliances with assessment practices, including recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment. Multiple premises have been searched in locations in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland where many items were seized by police including forged certificates.

The RTO was registered under the name Daily Update Pty Ltd (31901), also known as:
  • Outcome Training
  • Green Skills Australia Training Centre
  • DU English College
  • Australian Project Management Institute
