Skilled Labour Needs

Does your business have skilled occupation needs that aren't being met?

Have your say now

The Department of State Growth has commissioned a review of the Tasmanian Skilled Occupation List (TSOL – formerly the State Migration Plan).  The TSOL shows the skilled occupations required by Tasmanian businesses which may be met by the State Government nominating migrant applicants.  Occupations on the list are selected from the Department of Immigration and Border Protection’s (DIBP’s) Consolidated Skilled Occupation List (CSOL).

The purpose of updating the TSOL is to assist the State Government in nominating the right occupations and to manage the expectations of overseas applicants. Importantly, industry input into the review is critical to ensuring the list reflects current industry skilled labour needs.
