The Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) today reacted to the Tasmanian result of the Federal Election as known thus far.
"The people of Tasmania have clearly spoken with the ousting of the three sitting House of Representatives Liberal members," said TCCI CEO, Michael Bailey.
"We did not expect this outcome but look forward to working with the new members to ensure that key election commitments are kept and Tasmanian business is supported," said Mr Bailey.
Through the campaign, the TCCI remained a-political but expressed their wish for a stable, majority government.
