As a result of the Fair Work Commission (FWC) Minimum Wage Decision on 16 June 2021, minimum pay rates under many awards have increased from 1 July 2021. New pay guides have now been issued to assist in identifying and applying those new pay rates.
Pay guides have the current minimum pay rates for full-time, part-time and casual employees in an award. They also include all monetary allowances and the most frequently used penalty rates for each classification.
Pay guides don't apply when a business has a registered agreement and the employee is covered by it.
Pay Guides: In effect from 1 July 2021
Below are the awards that have minimum wage increases that need to be applied from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2021. Wage increases in other awards will apply from 1 September 2021 or 1 November 2021 depending on the award (
