Supporting the Community

The Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry aims to positively support and lead the Tasmanian business community. We believe that it is important for businesses to give back to the wider community and we aim to lead by example.

Each year the TCCI is involved in supporting a number of charities and running events to assist a variety of causes. Some of the charities and intiatives we are involved in include:

Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea
In May 2019 the TCCI hosted a morning tea with TCCI staff and board members in attendance. All attendees made donations.
Clean Up Australia Day
In February 2019, TCCI staff headed to Hobart Linear Park to clean up the area as part of Clean Up Australia Day. The team collected 6 bags in total. Some members of TCCI staff were also involved in clean up events outside of work.
  Red Cross RED25 Program
In 2018 the TCCI supported the Red Cross through promotion of their RED25 Campaign to encourage more people to donate blood. This included displaying promotional materials in TCCI offices and promotion through our newsletter.
  Live Life Gala Ball 2018
In 2018, the TCCI supported The Alex Gadomski Fellowship through sponsorship of the 2019 'Live Life' Gala Ball. This involved a significant donation to support the event with 100% of funds going towards research.
